About the role:
We are seeking a skilled Wix Developer to join our team and help us create customized websites using the Wix platform. As our Wix Developer, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining our clients’ Wix websites, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless user experience, and staying up to date on the latest Wix trends and technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize Wix websites to meet our clients’ unique needs and requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and content creators, to ensure a seamless user experience across all channels.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Customize Wix templates and apps to meet our clients’ unique needs and requirements.
- Optimize website performance and load times using techniques such as caching and minification
- Stay up to date on the latest Wix trends and technologies, and apply them to our websites
- Test and debug websites to ensure a high level of quality and functionality
- Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in Wix development, with expertise in customizing Wix templates and apps
- Very strong programming experience in software development with Microsoft Visual Studio / Development tools, and C# programming
- Strong understanding of web development best practices, including SEO and accessibility
- Experience with programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines
- Keen attention to detail
